Graduate Student
Savannah R. Roberts is a 6th-year PhD student in Clinical and Developmental Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh. Her research focuses on the sociocultural and developmental factors contributing to body dissatisfaction and disordered eating among LGBTQ+ adolescents, with the goal of someday developing accessible eating disorder prevention programs. By integrating theory and empirical research, she seeks to identify unique factors implicated in LGBTQ+ adolescents' body image concerns. Her program of research is further informed by her clinical experience in the treatment and prevention of eating disorders with youth and adult populations.
